Erik Jansson
I'm a mathematician interested interested in problems in the intersection of numerical analysis, stochastics and geometry. Currently, I am a WASP and KAW postdoc in the Cambridge Image Analysis Group, hosted by Prof. Carola-Bibiane Schönlieb as well as a College Research Associate at Wolfson College. I recently completed my PhD under the supervision of Klas Modin and Annika Lang at the Dept. of Mathematical Sciences at Chalmers University of Technology.
I have broad interests. Application-wise, this has led me to work with for instance stochastic partial differential equations on manifolds for the sampling of random fields, shape analysis applied to protein imaging and structure-preserving numerics.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to talk some math!
